Preserving the Past & Supporting the Arts in Schuylkill County | Historic Frank D. Yuengling Mansion
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS HISTORY
The Yuengling family called the mansion home from 1913 until 1978. In a generous act of preservation and community spirit, they donated the property to the Schuylkill County Council for the Arts (SCCA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to serve as an arts + events center and historical museum.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the mansion and its grounds—including the carriage house and gardens—have been carefully preserved to honor their history.
Today, the SCCA relies entirely on donations to sustain its mission. The mansion now hosts arts programming, exhibitions, and community events that welcome thousands of guests each year, carrying forward the Yuengling family’s vision of a vibrant, creative, and joyful gathering place.
You can help support the SCCA by attending events, becoming a member, volunteering your time, or making a tax-deductible donation. Every contribution directly supports the preservation of the Historic Yuengling Mansion and ensures that arts and culture continue to thrive in our community.
