
Tammy Wapinsky
Tammy Wapinsky, a native of Pottsville, Pennsylvania has studied voice since the age of fifteen. Her studies began in Pottsville, under the tutelage of Cora Gamelin-Osenbach. She pursued her studies in voice with earning a Bachlors of Music in performance at Temple University. She continued her post bachlors studies earning performance degrees at Johns Hopkins, The Peabody Institute, Indiana University's The Jacob School of Music and Mannes The New School for Music.
n the summer of 2006, she was chosen to participate in Chauatuqua Opera's Studio Program in Chautauqua, New Year. In the summer of 2007, she was accepted into the prestigious Merola Opera Program. In the intensive weeks of studio, she made debut in the world premier of Thomas Pasitieri's Hotel Casablanca as Tallulah Carter. Shortly after finishing the Merola Program, she was invited to join San Francisco Operas Adler Fellowship. In the two years Ms. Wapinsky spent at San Francisco Opera, she sang and performed numerous roles under eminent directors and maestri.
Wapinsky has performed on the international stages around the world, which include; The Royal Swedish Opera, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, San Francisco Opera, Seattle Opera and Vancouver Opera.
